Charles & Ray Eames for Herman Miller éditeur, suite of 4 "DAL" armchairs, known as "1730-1", or "La Fonda ".
Legs cast aluminum, fiberglass shell, 2 green and 2 nude color synthetic upholstery. 1960 edition.
The La Fonda series was a special series of chairs from the early 1960s for the La Fonda Mexican Cuisine restaurant at Time Life in New York. The design project for the restaurant was led by Eames' family friend Alexander Girard, a talented architect and designer with whom Herman Miller worked until 1973.
Chairs are in good condition with some discoloration to the fabric but that makes the chairs unique and original. Chairs can be sold per 2 of the same color. Price in half 1150€ for 2
