4 oak chairs, unused and a unique design: it is the original version of the Stammplatz, a design by Alfredo Häberli. Only 7 were made, so unique pieces! Why? Because for the time being we have chosen to only stock the variant with a semi-armrest. This latest version has been exhibited, among others, in the Paul Klee Museum in Bern, Switzerland.
The Stammplatz is a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional handmade chair, which you often see in mountain huts, e.g. in the Swiss Alps with a sheepskin on it. This chair is designed to match the Quodes Stammtisch table, also a design by Alfredo Häberli. The chair can of course also be combined with many other tables.
Produced in Germany, from oak and finished with oil. New price would now be EUR 795 each, or EUR 3280 for 4 chairs, now for EUR 1450.
Felt caps under the legs (can be turned over to reveal hard caps).
