Very beautiful and very rare set of four Hans Wegner chairs. Hans J. Wegner, a very famous Danish designer, designed this chair in the 1950s. The chair was produced by Fritz Hansen. The chair, model 'FH4103', is also called 'Heart chair' because of the shape of the seat. There are four chairs available.
The design of the chair can be called exceptional. Immediately noticeable is that the chair has only three legs. Beautiful detail of the front leg is visible in the seat. Furthermore, the beautifully shaped backrest stands out. Because of its shape, it is possible to stack the chairs. The chair is made with two types of wood, oak and teak. The frame is made of oak, the seat is teak which contrasts beautifully with the oak frame.
The four chairs are in very nice condition. There are slight traces of use here and there that are appropriate to their age.
