This industrial stacking chair S22 in Pagwood from Galvanitas was designed during the 1970s in the style of famous industrial designs by Wim Rietveld, Jean Prouvé, and Friso Kramer with a 'pyramid’ or ‘compass’ base principle. This sculptural chair is comfortable and heavy. The pagwood seat is made of a high-density veneer or resin composite and is shock, scratch, break, and weather-resistant, and even resistant to cigarette burns. The frame is made of folded sheet metal with a sliding bar. The design of the chair legs makes it possible to stack several ones easily. The metal frame is black, and the seat has a strong brown wood grain.
