Product description
This is a set of six Elasta chairs, designed for the Italian manufacturer Arflex. The design is characterized by its innovative construction and minimalist use of materials, resulting in a chair that is both functional and visually light. The Elasta chair is an example of Italian design that integrates flexibility and comfort into a sleek, modern form.
The chairs are made with a seat and backrest of bent plywood in a natural wood color, mounted on a frame of black lacquered metal. A distinctive feature of the Elasta model is the use of rubber connectors that link the wooden parts to the frame. This construction provides subtle flexibility in the backrest, which enhances seating comfort. The design is a study in efficiency, where each element has a clear function.
The overall condition of the set is good, with a character consistent with its age and use. The wood has a warm, natural appearance, and the metal frame is structurally solid. The chairs retain their original finish, and all constructive components are present, including the characteristic rubber connections and floor glides.
This set of six chairs is ideal for use at a dining table in a modern or minimalist interior. The combination of light wood and black metal makes them versatile and easy to combine with various table styles, from glass to solid wood.
