These 4 Selene chairs are beautiful and in great condition, designed by Vico Magistretti for Artemide in Italy around 1969. The entire chair is made from one piece of cast fiberglass to which the legs were subsequently attached. The legs are shaped for extra stability and ease of stacking. The fiberglass material makes them suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The shape of the movable backrest makes it very comfortable; it was one of the most affordable and comfortable products of its time. The chair was patented in 1967 and still has the patent pending mark (indicating its age). They are kept in MOMA's permanent collection. Some small scratches commensurate with age. Minimal discoloration and well preserved. They measure 47W x 39D x 75.3H. Set on floor 45cm.In good condition with age-appropriate traces
