Set of Two Dining Room Chairs by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, 1960, Netherlands. These chairs have an elegant Rio wooden frame, with sublime details on the backs and legs. The seats have recently been reupholstered with a chic steel blue fabric, which gives the whole a fresh look. The original metal caps on the legs have been retained, ideal for attaching felt pads to protect your floor.Special feature: one of the chairs still has the authentic Pastoe sticker on the bottom (as shown in the photo). The chairs show minor signs of wear. It is important to mention that one of the bars has undergone a minor repair. There is a small pin in the backrest. This causes the backrest to give slightly when sitting backwards.
