The octagonal measuring ring glasses refer to the painting
'The Prodigal Son Squanders His Inheritance' by Rembrandt van Rijn from the 17th century. The horizontal measurement rings represent the number of centimeters and in this way one could indicate the quantity to be ordered.
Each individual glass is mouth-blown and handmade.
These glasses were blown in 2006 on the occasion of the Rembrandt year.
