Serooskerke, NetherlandsView all items from this seller2 Beautiful tub swivel chairs, the 'Circle Balloon chairs', designed by Hans Olsen and for Lusch & Co. (Lusch Erzeugnis), Germany in 1950's.
This swivel chair is the predecessor of the version on 4 legs (which was produced in large numbers) and is more special because the edition is small and made of real cowhide/suede.

Dimensions; 70 x 70 x 70 cm, seat height 38 cm.
The diagonal seat gives the chair a comfortable deep seat.
Nice detail is the suede connection at the back and bottom.
In good vintage condition with signs of wear, matching the age of the chairs. The seats in the sitting area are somewhat 'bare', but certainly not worn. Stitching is sturdy and the seats turn perfectly.
