Two gispen 407 armchairs (model gispen 407 replica) Have been completely restored by the previous owner. New webbing in back and seat, new foam and fiberfill. Upholstered in black furniture fabric. New bakelite armrests. Both seating comfort and appearance very good.
The Gispen was designed by W.H Gispen in 1933. The chairs were made in Gispen Fabriek voor metaalbewerking N.V. In 1975 the production of the chair was stopped. In the 1990s, the company dutch originals started a replica of the 407. These chairs were made between 1975 and 1990 by an unknown manufacturer. After that, several replicas were made. These chairs are about 35 years old but due to restoration they will last a very long time again and retain their value. Make a good offer and these beautiful designer chairs are yours.
