The Dijkstra Eclipse lamp is a vintage design item made by the Dutch company Dijkstra Lampen around the year 1960. The name "Eclipse" comes from the unique design in which the lampshade is designed in such a way that it can create an eclipse effect.
The semicircular shade can be rotated around a central light source. By rotating the shade you can play with the light and the amount of light that escapes, creating an effect similar to a lunar eclipse.
Dijkstra Lampen have become collector's items for enthusiasts of mid-century modern and vintage interior designs.
The lamp is in vintage condition with some small scratches and a small tear in the plastic behind the light source. However, this is not visible when the lamp is hanging. Both lamps are equipped with a plug and light switch. This makes the lamps ideal for next to the bed in the sleeping camper.
The price is for the set of two lamps.
