These two beautiful and special armchairs were designed by Arnold Madsen and Henry Schubell for Bovenkamp in the 1950s. It concerns a 'ladies' (lowback) and 'gentlemen' (highback) model. I have restored them with care and pleasure and upholstered them in a warm orange wool furniture fabric from Kvadrat (type Tonus Meadow color 576). Both armchairs are marked on the wood under the seat.
The woodwork shows light signs of wear, appropriate to the age of this unique set.
