A beautiful pair of armchairs, model Karen, designed by Arnold Madsen & Henry Schubell and manufactured by Bovenkamp, Netherlands, 1960. Aksel Bender Madsen worked for Bovenkamp in the late 1950s and early 1960s. He designed the armchairs and helped Bovenkamp integrate Danish influences and craftsmanship into their furniture production. The chairs have a solid oak frame and teak armrests. They have been reupholstered with Kvadrat wool fabric and fully restored, preserving their authenticity. Marked with a stamp on the wood under the seat. Price and sale as a pair.
