A pair of teak plant stands in 20th century Javanese Art Deco style, with horizontal brass brackets and curved bases.
Made on the island of Java in the 20th century, this pair of large planters charms us with their Art Deco lines and warm teak patina. Each planter has a round top with a 30 cm diameter opening, which sits above an elongated tapered body, accented with horizontal brass brackets.
The planters each stand on four gracefully curved legs connected by a lower crucifix and come down to a square base with four protruding corners.
With their Art Deco lines, large proportions and complementary colors, this pair of 20th century Javanese teak plant stands will be a beautiful decorative addition to any home, whether placed indoors, perhaps anchoring a hallway or fireplace, or under a covered porch or patio.
