The absolute icon among chairs. The design of the DSW chair was created in 1948 on the occasion of the MoMa exhibition "Low Cost Furniture Design". Just two years later - from 1950 - the chair design went into production. As the first mass-produced plastic chair in furniture history, Charles & Ray Eames truly wrote design history with the Plastic Side Chairs and Armchairs.
I have 10 of them with the beautiful light-colored wooden base and white seat shells and am now selling them due to refurbishment. The seat height should be 41cm, even if it looks like 42cm when measuredThe chairs are in an acceptable used condition with traces and patina on the seat shells and frames. Some of the glides are missing and screws need to be tightened. The chairs are used and have been used, you can see that.
