For sale is an original Arne Vodder dining / desk chair with fine cognac aniline leather in a unique condition! There are 2 pieces available! Please contact us if you also want to buy the second chair! Object: 1x desk chair / dining chair Description: Solid teak frame with spherical armrests, conically turned chair legs, fitted seat shell with new high-quality cold foam upholstery, new aniline leather cover with new tension fabric on the underside, new glides Manufacturer: France & Son, Denmark Designers: Arne Vodder, Denmark Material: Solid teak / natural full-grain premium aniline nappa leather, open-pored, easy-care and yet "soft as a glove"! The leather originally grew - strong, firm, hard-wearing and yet soft and cuddly. Unique in the pattern of pores, scars and surface structure - a high level of durability and value retention. It is one of the most expensive leathers! Little leather science: "Leather is not just leather !!" more... Please do not compare this leather with leather that has been grained afterwards, i.e. artificially. In the case of artificially grained leather, the lower skin layers of the animal skin (split leather) are pressed through heated steel rollers. The rollers have a surface that mimics the natural grain of leather and uses pressure and heat to create an artificial grain (embossing) of the original smooth leather. This artificially grained leather is very often used for leather furniture, which is offered on ebay, Amazon & Co and in upholstered furniture department stores with so-called bargain prices, producer prices, direct purchase prices etc. (often Chinese goods) or for branded furniture in the lower and middle price segment . This does not mean high quality, it is by no means a seal of quality but only says that it is not artificial leather! Incidentally, the leather is characterized by a fairly high degree of wear and tear, with normal use the grain will disappear after a while. It also feels cold and often quite rubbery due to the heavy application of paint. The difference in quality is also noticeable in terms of price, it only costs about 1/3 of the price of high-quality leather at the tanneries, since it is actually rejects or third-class goods in the conventional sense. Hue: cognac / teak (dark brown with a beautiful reddish tint and natural color nuances) Info! The photos are highly exposed so that the 1a condition can also be seen in detail! This makes reddish tints redder and colors generally lighter. The shaded areas or the areas not directly illuminated by the photo light best reproduce the color tones in real life. for connoisseurs: as with velvet, skin areas drawn against the grain or movement folds of the cattle appear as light shadows or elongated "lines" depending on the viewing angle. In real life, this effect hardly occurs due to the 3D vision of human eyes. Dimensions: W: 62.5cm; D: 52cm; H: 80cm; Sh: 44cm; St: 47cm Condition: One word is enough, "as new" This is restoration in perfection... ! Here, too, as is so often the case with us, you are welcome to search all over the world, you will not find this chair anywhere - not even remotely - in this condition!
