Castelijn design

Castelijn's success can largely be attributed to their talented team of designers dedicated to creating innovative and sustainable furniture designs. Each Castelijn designer brings a unique perspective and skills, resulting in a diverse range of furniture pieces that are both functional and aesthetic.

Dick Spierenburg: One of Castelijn's standout designers is Dick Spierenburg. Ever since the early 1980s, Dick Spierenburg has strongly established the Castelijn line through his striking designs. His designs include the successful collections 'Console', 'Delta' and 'VP'. The cabinets series 'Disk' and 'Line' designed by him in 1994 and 1998 are still widely produced and table 'Circlips' (designed in 2008 in collaboration with Karel Boonzaaijer) still enjoys great popularity today.
Gerard de Hoop: Another notable Castelijn designer is Gerard de Hoop. Gerard de Hoop graduated from Academy Minerva in Groningen in 1995, majoring in Interior Architecture. His predilection lies mainly in furniture design. His cabinet designs Rib, Rob and Sticks were put into production by Castelijn in 2011. Castelijn's team of designers strive to create furniture that is durable and meets the highest standards of quality and durability. Their innovative designs have earned them a reputation as one of the world's leading furniture brands.

Castelijn Sustainability

Castelijn has made sustainability a top priority in their operations. The brand uses only sustainable materials of the highest quality, ensuring that each piece of furniture has a long lifespan and minimal impact on the environment. Castelijn's commitment to sustainability also extends to their manufacturing processes; the brand uses energy-efficient machinery and implements a closed-loop system that minimizes waste and reduces their carbon footprint.

Castelijn's commitment to sustainability and social responsibility is evident in the quality and craftsmanship of their furniture. Each item is carefully designed and made to last for years, reducing the need for regular replacement and ultimately minimizing waste. The brand's commitment to sustainability also means that furniture pieces are not only good for the environment, but they are also a smart investment for those looking for high-quality furniture that will last.
