Product description
Rare ‘seatbelt’ chairs, designed by Gijs Bakker in 1978 for Castelijn. Only a few were produced; they were in production for just one year.
Collectors' items.
There were various models in this series: dining chairs and armchairs with and without armrests. Now for sale: two armchairs and two armchairs without armrests.
They feature an ash wood frame and a black nylon seat and backrest with seatbelt straps.
The chairs are in good original condition, with some normal signs of use.
Armchairs: Height 82 cm, Width 63 cm, Depth 66 cm, Seat height 38 cm
