Beautiful mid-century accordion wall lamp / scissor lamp with a distinct industrial character. This piece stands out from standard models due to its rarer, purely mechanical ball joint (knee joint with set screw) at the neck of the lamp and a slender, tulip-shaped white enameled shade with 7 ventilation holes at the top edge. The design shows strong characteristics of high-quality East and West German industrial lighting from the 50s and 60s (such as AWM and VEB Zweckleuchten). Thanks to the smooth scissor mechanism, the lamp is easy to extend and retract and fold flat against the wall. The ball joint ensures that the shade can be adjusted in any desired direction. The lamp is in good vintage condition with a beautiful, authentic patina (light signs of use on the paint consistent with age). Equipped with the original white wiring, vintage inline switch, and classic black plug. Easy to mount on the wall via the wall bracket. In short, an atmospheric eye-catcher for an industrial, Bauhaus, or modern vintage interior!
