This beautiful sculptural object is an original active radio antenna, model "Portrait Capte", designed and manufactured in the early 1950s by Constructions Célard in Grenoble, France. With its sleek Art-Deco lines and elegant appearance, this object now functions as a magnificent vintage work of art on a dresser or in a design cabinet.
This specific example is in truly exceptional and impeccable condition:
100% Intact: Absolutely no cracks, tears, or chips in the fragile early plastic (polystyrene). This is extremely rare for this model.
Beautiful Portrait: Features the sought-after, atmospheric image of a smiling woman. The colors have remained beautifully bright and the paper shows minimal signs of age.
Completely Original: Including the authentic toothed rotary knob on the front, the mechanical waveband slider (PO/GO/OC) on the side, and the original braided wiring with plugs on the back.
