This still very beautiful wide legendary armchair by the Italian architect Gio Ponti was designed for one of his beloved projects; the villa of the Planchart collectors in Caracas (1953-57, mid-century) This shell-shaped seat is wonderfully comfortable in various sitting positions, upright or leaning against the higher sides. Beautiful in the Molteni velvet color and leather outer shell. New price approx: €4,500 Inside: copper-colored fabric W6224 Web Velvet Outside: leather Pelle Siria S1222 light beige External structure: cold-molded polyurethane.
