Very nice color green earthenware teapot. Herman Zaalberg is the eldest son of Meindert Zaalberg. In his younger years he receives an in-house training from his father in the Pottery Zaalberg. Since 1965 he has had his own pottery. Many of Herman's designs were manufactured as series products at Potterij Zaalberg. In addition, he was engaged in unique pieces. Noteworthy are the bottles with long, narrow necks that he produced. From the 1970s he began making interlocking bowls and platters that were covered with a white glaze.
There is a bit of tea staining and a tiny, inconspicuous chip on the spout.
