This stylish daybed from the 1950s was manufactured in Germany by Wilhelm Knoll and impressively embodies the timeless design of Mid-Century Modern.
The freestanding daybed features a characteristic wooden frame. By folding out the wide armrest, the total width can be flexibly extended, allowing the piece of furniture to be used both as a compact sofa and as a spacious lounger.
The elaborately upholstered seat and lying surface is covered with a high-quality fabric in subtle beige and natural tones. The combination of warm wood, textile upholstery, and clear geometric shapes gives the daybed its authentic character and makes it a special example of German Mid-Century design.
