About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
A striking and highly functional classic of Danish design: the "Phister" lamp, designed by Hans Due for the famous Danish lighting manufacturer Fog & Mørup in 1977.
Made of molded plastic in a bright red, this lamp exhibits a bold and playful character that perfectly embodies the experimental spirit of Scandinavian design from the late 1970s. Its signature pivoting "heads" can be individually adjusted, allowing you to direct the light according to your preferences. This clever functionality makes this lamp both very practical and aesthetically pleasing.
Primarily designed as a wall lamp, the "Phister" can also serve as a table lamp, giving it great versatility in terms of placement. Its bright red color provides a strong visual presence, making it a decorative element that attracts the eye in contemporary, modernist, or retro interiors.
With its sculptural form, innovative features, and undeniable Danish character, the "Phister" is an excellent example of collectible Scandinavian lighting from the 1970s.
