Product description
The ES 105 Lobby Chair by Vitra, designed by Charles & Ray Eames in 1960, is an iconic design armchair with a luxurious and comfortable character. This version (412 078 00) is upholstered in Premium F leather in the color 75 Camel, a high-quality semi-aniline nappa leather known for its soft, supple feel, flat grain, and subtle sheen. The leather is fully dyed and lightly pigmented, allowing it to retain the natural look of genuine leather while also withstanding everyday wear. Olive leaf tanning, a product of the olive harvest, is used in its production, giving the leather a more sustainable character. The armchair rests on a four-star base made of chrome-plated die-cast aluminum and swivels 360 degrees, providing additional comfort and flexibility. The dimensions are 75 cm wide, 74.5 cm deep, and 78 cm high, with a seat depth of 55 cm and a seat height of 36.5 cm. The design features three individual, generously filled cushions connected by elegant aluminum side frames, creating exceptional seating comfort and a powerful, architectural presence. Originally designed for the lobby of the Time & Life Building in New York, the ES 105 Lobby Chair has become a timeless classic of modern design.
