Product description
This is the iconic Eames Plastic Armchair DAW, an authentic piece produced by Vitra. The design by Charles and Ray Eames is a milestone in furniture history, known for its organically shaped seat shell that was first manufactured in plastic.
This version features a polypropylene seat shell in a subtle taupe color, providing a modern yet timeless look. The base, the 'Dowel Wood Base', consists of four solid wooden legs in a warm tone, connected by black metal cross struts. This combination of materials is characteristic of Mid-Century Modern design and offers both stability and refined aesthetics.
The chair is in very good condition and retains its original character. The DAW (Dining Height Armchair Wood Base) is a versatile chair that fits perfectly as a dining chair, but also as a stylish accent in a living room, study, or office. Its comfort and iconic design make it a sought-after object for design enthusiasts.
