For sale is a beautiful and rare vintage wall clock by Junghans from the 1980s. A real highlight for lovers of Postmodern / Memphis Design! What's special about this model: It is a collaboration with the well-known French ceramic manufacturer "Salins France". The body is made of high-quality ceramic in a stylish pastel pink with a grey rim and dotted numerals. Details: * Manufacturer: Junghans (Made in Germany) * Body: Salins France (high-quality ceramic/faience) * Model number: 362/1638 * Diameter: approx. 24.5 cm * Movement: Original Junghans quartz movement (battery-operated, requires 1x AA / LR6 battery) * Era: 1980s / Vintage / Retro * Condition: Very good optical condition without cracks or chips in the ceramic. The movement runs perfectly and keeps time. The clock comes from the Junghans collection of 1988 and was offered until at least 1991. With its reduced design, embossed numerals, and pastel colours, the clock is a beautiful example of German Postmodern design of the late 1980s and is rarely found today. A great eye-catcher for the kitchen, living room, or for collectors of 80s design classics.
