Product description
This striking round wall rack with a grid layout is a textbook example of Space Age design from the 1970s. The rack consists of a circular plastic disc with a sleek 4x4 grid pattern, originally designed as a storage display for small items. The soft gray color and minimalist lines give the rack a calm, graphic look that fits perfectly in both retro, minimalist, and eclectic interiors.
The wall rack is still in good vintage condition with signs of wear commensurate with its age. Although this piece is unmarked, the design is entirely similar to the rare "Globo" wall racks by Vector, a German brand known for its futuristic plastic designs. Replicas of this wall rack were recreated in 2004 in a limited edition of 800 pieces.
