Magnificent Sommerso vase - Vicke Lindstrand - Kosta Boda Sweden - 1960 Rare piece, signed "Kosta LH 1889". Vases by Vicke Lindstrand regularly sell for between €1,000 and €2,000 (See photos) Mouth-blown, the vase is elaborated from a transparent base with a large amber-yellow bubble that plunges and drowns in a blue/green turquoise. In very good condition. A few small scratches under the base. Viktor Emanuel Lindstrand [1904-1983] was a Swedish designer and artist. He became known for his work in glass, although he was also an illustrator, painter, sculptor and ceramist. He is considered a pioneer in the art of glassmaking.
