Vintage Thuya burl wood trinket box with a hinged lid, its swirling honey-brown grain rendered in rich sculptural burl figure beneath a glossy finish. Hand-carved from solid Thuya wood, it opens on a brass hinge. The dense burl grain gives it real tactile warmth, equal parts organic and refined. Dimensions: 11 x 7.5 x 4.5 cm Very good vintage condition. Minimal surface wear and patina; some discoloration to the interior, likely from prior use storing pigments.
