DESCRIPTION:
Vintage design lamp from the 1980s / desk lamp from the 1980s. Plastic with wire-wrapped wire and a movable head featuring a Saturn ring – all in the primary colors and style of the Memphis Group – interior designers from 1981-1987, founded by the now world-famous Ettore Sottsass. The group resisted the strict functional rules of modernism, and their ideas would significantly shape the look of the 1980s. The designs were widely imitated.
This design was made by Esto in Austria in the 1980s.
A beautiful item for the lover of this timeless style.
