Product description
The type 300-139 armchair, commonly known as the stefan, was designed and manufactured in the second half of the 1960s at the swarzędz furniture factory as the flagship piece of furniture for the Communist authorities of the time. It was mainly intended for export. The style is very much in the tradition of Scandinavian armchairs, which probably contributed to its great success. Today, this chair is rare, and prices for well-preserved examples are rising rapidly. The chair has been extensively renovated. The wood has been carefully sanded and coated with a satin-finish ecological teak stain. The cushions were reassembled from foam with enhanced kneading resistance. The fabric used is highly resistant to dirt, and once this occurs, it can be removed and washed using zippers.
