This is a vintage table lamp that embodies the distinctive aesthetic of the Space Age era. The design combines an organic shape with a minimalist base, resulting in an object that is both functional and sculptural. The spherical shade with its unique texture and perforations makes this a striking piece of lighting. The lamp is made with a spherical ceramic shade, finished with a rough, textured white glaze reminiscent of a moon surface. This shade rests on a contrasting cylindrical base of light-colored wood. The round openings in the ceramic sphere create an atmospheric and diffused light effect, while the opening at the top casts an indirect light onto the ceiling. The fixture is in very good vintage condition, retaining its original materials and finish. The lamp is fully functional and the electrical wiring is in order, as can be seen in the photos where the lamp is lit.
