About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This vintage Space Age alarm clock from West Germany is a striking piece of design from the 1970s. The distinctive egg-shaped casing and contrasting colors make it a typical example of the futuristic aesthetic of that era.
The clock is made of plastic and features a bright orange top resting on a black, trumpet-shaped base. The black dial features striking orange accents and luminous hands, protected by a convex, transparent cover. On the back are the original brass-colored and black rotary knobs for setting the time and alarm, bearing the inscription 'West Germany'.
The item is in good vintage condition, retaining its original character and functionality. The colors are still vibrant and the construction is sturdy.
This alarm clock is a perfect addition to a retro or eclectic interior. It is a playful and functional object that looks great on a bedside table, desk, or in an open cabinet as a decorative accent.
