Vintage Sosaku Kokeshi. Dit is een Sosaku Japanse kokeshi-pop met een vrij eenvoudige en rustieke vormgeving. Deze pop heeft een ronde houten kop met beschilderde ogen, wenkbrauwen en haaraccenten, en een eenvoudig, cilindrisch lichaam. Op het lichaam is met de hand een landschap geschilderd in groen, roze en wit. Dit soort kokeshi-poppen worden met de hand gedraaid uit hout (vaak fruitsoorten zoals kers of esdoorn) en zijn oorspronkelijk afkomstig uit de noordelijke regio Tōhoku in Japan. Ze hebben traditioneel geen armen of benen. De pop vertoont duidelijke ouderdomssporen, zoals slijtage aan de verf en een scheurtje in het hout aan de onderkant van het lichaam. This is a Sosaku Japanese kokeshi doll with a fairly simple and rustic design. This doll has a round wooden head with painted eyes, eyebrows, and hair accents, and a simple, cylindrical body. A landscape in green, pink, and white has been hand-painted on the body. This type of kokeshi doll is hand-turned from wood (often fruit varieties such as cherry or maple) and originates from the northern region of Tōhoku in Japan. Traditionally, they have no arms or legs. The doll shows clear signs of age, such as wear to the paint and a small crack in the wood at the bottom of the body. This suggests that it is an older, authentic example. Please view the photos for the condition. The height is 8 cm. Please note: The items are not new, so there will always be scratches, discoloration, and/or cracks/dents present to a greater or lesser extent.
