Vintage Japanese Shigaraki vase with original tomobako (certificate of authenticity). Shigaraki ceramics (Koka city) made by master potter Tsuchihashi Yahachiro (signature on the lower left of the lid). A very special, authentic Japanese ceramic by a renowned artist. In mint condition, 30cm high.
The inside of the lid bears the following Japanese inscription:
昭和四十二年三月 (Shōwa yonjū-ni nen san-gatsu): March 1967 (the 42nd year of the Shōwa period).
