Product description
This set of apothecary jars was made in Belgium around the 1970s-1980s. Both jars are marked on the bottom with the number 5303 and the Omega symbol. The number 5303 is a production number and the Omega symbol (Ω) is a hallmark of the glass manufacturer. These features are standard markings found on vintage apothecary jars from the middle of the last century, made in Belgium in the 1970s and 1980s, which were widely produced for storage and decorative use in the home. They are made of amber-colored glass and have a so-called 'bubble stopper'. These jars were made in 3 sizes: small, medium, and large. The height of these jars is 19 centimeters, the medium size. They have a capacity of approximately 500-750 milliliters. Please note: although the jars are in very good condition (the rubber rim closures still work perfectly), the bulbous lids of both jars have some sticker stains (see photos). I tried to remove this with sticker remover, but not all the stains disappeared. It is not very visible from a distance, but if you look closely, you can see it. Height: 19 centimeters Diameter: 10 centimeters
