Special vintage Danish pendant lamp by JEKA, executed in warm cream/ivory. The lamp is constructed from no less than seven layered metal reflectors. The different shades shield the light source and reflect the light both downwards and between the different layers. This creates a pleasant, soft, and largely glare-free light. The warm cream/ivory color gives the lamp a softer appearance than the more common white Scandinavian pendant lamps. The seven individual layers not only give the lamp its sculptural appearance but also ensure a particularly beautiful light distribution: when the lamp is lit, each layer is individually accentuated, creating a warm glow between the reflectors. This lamp feels significantly heavier and more robust than many other Danish pendant lamps from the same period. A sculptural and characteristic Danish vintage lamp that forms a strong object in the interior even when not lit. Good vintage condition with light signs of use appropriate for its age;
