Saint-Louis, France 20th century Hand-cut clear crystal Elegant vintage French hand-cut crystal centerpiece bowl by the prestigious Cristallerie de Saint-Louis. Crafted from substantial clear crystal, the bowl features a striking geometric hand-cut decoration composed of large intersecting diamond and faceted motifs. The underside is beautifully finished with a deeply cut radiating starburst, creating remarkable reflections when viewed through the bowl. The generous proportions and substantial crystal give the piece a strong decorative presence, while the precision of the cutting produces the brilliance and optical effects for which Saint-Louis crystal is renowned. The bowl retains its original black “Saint Louis – Cristal – France” label. An identical example with the same dimensions and cut decoration has been documented on the French antiques market, confirming this as a Saint-Louis production. The piece presents very well, with only light surface traces and fine scratches consistent with age and normal use.
