In the 1950s and 60s, the Dutch brand Rohé Noordwolde produced elegant chairs made of bamboo and rattan, often combined with a metal base.
These chairs are characterized by their light, organic design and open structure, fitting within the mid-century modern style.
They were handmade in Noordwolde, at the time the center of the rattan industry.
