History:
The very first set of Pyrex mixing bowls debuted in the 1940s. It was a set of four nesting sizes that contained the primary colors yellow, red, green, and blue. A popular and colorful kitchen set, these favorites remained favorites for the next thirty years, continuously manufactured decade by decade. These bowls are from that original primary design but were made in the 1950s.
