Antique earthenware jar: jam jar or ointment/pharmacy jar. AP stands for "Assistance Publique" (Public Assistance): these items were used in Parisian public hospitals in the early 20th century. Stamped Digoin & Sarreguemines (1920s-1930s). Very good condition, no cracks or chips, but a beautiful earthenware patina acquired over time. 12.5 cm high. 9.5 cm diameter. Opening diameter: 8.5 cm.
