This beautiful and extremely rare design classic was designed in the 1950s by Louis Kalff for Philips. With its space-age looks and atmospheric, diffuse light, you truly bring something special into your home. The lamp has a dark grey, dish-shaped metal shade that rests on a central part of frosted opaline glass. The whole thing stands super elegantly on a minimalist tripod. Specifications & Condition: Designer: Louis Kalff Manufacturer: Philips (including the original Philips sticker!) Period: 1950s (Mid-Century Modern) Material: Metal and frosted glass Socket: E27 (large socket, ideal for a beautiful LED mirror-head bulb) Condition: In very good, original vintage condition. The glass and shade are completely intact: no chips and no scratches. A few small "smudges" on the shade. Functionality: The wiring has been checked and the switch works perfectly.
