This original Mid-Century design classic (model NB100) was designed in the 1950s under the direction of the famous architect and designer Louis Kalff for Philips. With its minimalist, matte black minimalist frame and unique shade, you bring a true piece of Dutch Design into your home. The aluminum shade is finished in an incredibly beautiful and original light gray splatter pattern (speckled lacquer). The lamp provides beautiful ambient light, especially in combination with a (mirror-top) bulb. Specifications & Condition: Designer: Louis Kalff Model: NB100 Manufacturer: Philips (including the original Philips sticker!) Period: 1950s (Mid-Century Modern) Material: Powder-coated/lacquered metal and aluminum Socket: E27 (large socket) Condition: In very good vintage condition.
