Beautiful vintage octagonal decorative wall panel (1960s-1980s) made of genuine mother-of-pearl and 3D sea shells, Boho Chic / Hollywood Regency style.
This is a traditional handcrafted piece from Southeast Asia (Philippines), depicting a stylized bird (phoenix or peacock) perched on a flowering branch. The bird's plumage and the foliage are meticulously crafted from small, cut, and tinted natural sea shells, offering beautiful iridescent reflections in the light.
Materials: Mother-of-pearl mosaic (Capiz shells), 3D sea shells, golden brass rim, exotic wood veneer backing (complete with its original origin label).
Exact dimensions: 45 cm high x 30 cm wide.
Condition: The central mother-of-pearl and shell design is in good condition.
Please note: The brass finishing rim is slightly out of its groove at the bottom right corner (see photos). Sold as is.
