Product description
Elegant vintage nightstand by Victoria Baar, Switzerland, from the 1970s.
Particularly characteristic is the contrasting design of a dark brown wooden frame and cream-white surfaces. The frame encloses the body like an architectural structure and flows seamlessly into the four slender legs. The generously rounded corners of the white inserts and drawer fronts give the otherwise geometric design a softer, distinctly typical Mid-Century feel.
Two spacious drawers offer practical storage space and are each opened via a small, centrally located metal knob. The top is also provided with a light surface and framed by the dark wooden frame. The combination of dark wood grain, cream white and the restrained metal fittings appears both warm and graphic.
Condition: Very nice used vintage condition with slight signs of age and use. Drawers and surfaces are generally well-maintained.
