Description:
A very unique vintage ceramic table lamp in the shape of a shell with a complete underwater world inside. This unique lamp is from the French and Monaco-based ceramic studio that was active between 1968 and 1978. The name Monazur is a contraction of Monaco and Côte d'Azur. Many designs were inspired by the sea. Popular motifs were colorful fish, shells, and sea plants, and this lamp is no exception. The lamp features various small sea creatures and plants bathed in light. The shell itself has a beautiful finish where the colors shift in the light.
In short, a beautiful and unique lamp well-known among collectors.

Almost perfect condition, 1 small fin of a fish was broken but has been perfectly re-glued, making it hardly noticeable. (see last photo)
