Original vintage PH 4/3 pendant lamp, designed by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen.
The PH 4/3 was introduced in 1966 and is built according to Henningsen's famous three-shade system. The different reflectors direct the light downwards and sideways, while the light source is largely hidden from view. The result is a pleasant, soft and largely glare-free light.
This vintage piece has a particularly beautiful and graphic color combination: deep blue exterior, white interiors and a red-orange central reflector. When the lamp is lit, this inner reflector creates a warm glow that contrasts beautifully with the blue.
Equipped with the original Louis Poulsen label on the inside.
Good vintage condition with signs of wear appropriate for its age, including some light scratches and small spots of paint loss. See photos.
