This is a vintage Italian floor lamp, a true design piece from the 1970s. The design is a beautiful example of the Space Age style, with a striking combination of shiny chrome and warm, amber-colored glass. The lamp stands on a sturdy, round chrome base with a slender column. The large shade consists of two parts of glass: a lower bowl and a decorative upper disc that diffuses the light atmospherically.
