Beautiful, large vintage ambient lamp with an illuminated portrait miniature in a richly decorated, openwork metal oval frame. With an impressive size of 40 cm high and 38.5 cm wide, this is an absolute showpiece within a Hollywood Regency, Neoclassical or Dark Academia interior. The lamp features a high-quality mid-century reproduction of the portrait of Paolina Bonaparte (Napoleon Bonaparte's favorite sister), based on the famous 19th-century masterpiece La Bella Greca by Salomon-Guillaume Counis. Magical Light Effect & Size The portrait is applied to a specially developed, translucent celluloid/plastic surface. In daylight, it functions as an imposing, classically framed portrait with a beautiful, deep appearance. As soon as you turn on the lamp, the object transforms into a warm ambient lamp.
